Instructions to Make Resin Christmas Ornaments
Step 1
First step, prepare the resin you need later to paint the basic image in the molds. Use our IntoResin epoxy to mix the resin part and the hardener part slowly and evenly for 3 minutes according to 1:1 ratio.
Step 2
Later, divide the resin into several cups and then pour the mica powder into different cups by color. We're making resin Christmas ornaments, so we use red, green, brown, black, yellow, white colorants. Then mix them thoroughly and stir the mixture until there is no wire drawing. After this, let them stand for removing bubbles themselves.
Step 3
In this step, use the toothpicks and the resin to carefully paint the molds according to the patterns of the mold. This is our favorite part! It's so much fun to paint the molds with our imagination and color experiment ideas. You can also color with your own ideas. After painting, you can see that Santa Claus, the snowman, the reindeer and other ornaments have their prototypes. Let them sit for 24 hours to cure before proceeding to the next step.
Step 4
OK, after the resin painting in the last step hardened, you can now mix a cup of new resin and add some sliver glitters or sparkles into it. Then pour the mixture into the resin Christmas ornaments molds to form the bottoms of the ornaments. Allow them a day to cure and then pop them out of the molds.
Step 5
Now come to an exciting step! Using a toothpick, dip it into black resin and fill the resin in the pattern lines of the resin Christmas ornaments. It's thrilling to see that with the help of the black color, the images of Santa Claus and the snowman are vivid now. Similarly, give them some time to harden.
Step 6
Now you have the fascinating resin Christmas ornaments officially done! Let's resemble the string lights and make them shine. Insert the mini led bulbs into the holes of the ornaments and install batteries. Voila! You have a beautiful string of handmade Christmas decorations that will withstand many years of memories!
You can place these wherever you see fit around your house. They are perfect for hanging on the Christmas tree! Regardless of where you place these sparkling resin Christmas ornaments, with the help of resin molds you will be sure to have an unforgettable time creating a new holiday craft will be cherished for years to come.
