Step by Step Instructions
1. Kissing Couple Silicone Mold
In order to make this artwork, you first need to get a kissing couple silicone mold. These molds come with base stands so, you don’t have to worry about that. There are various sizes, shapes, and designs available in the market as well so, you can choose the one that you like best.
2. Epoxy Resin and Hardener
For the second step, you need to prepare your resin mixture. To make the resin mixture, it is important for you to achieve a correct 1:1 mix ratio by volume. So, take two parts resin and one part hardener. Once you have got the right ratio, blend the measured epoxy resin and hardener in a container with a mixing stick while you have your gloves on.
3. Tint Your Resin
Then, you need to tint your resin with orange and blue alcohol inks. Alcohol inks are used so that you can get a translucent appearance. Take two separate containers and add the orange and blue alcohol inks in the containers to achieve the shade that you desire.
4. Pour the Resin Mixture
Once you have prepared your resin mixtures, you need to work with them at the same time. For this purpose, start pouring orange and blue tinted resin mixture in your kissing couple silicone mold side by side. Once you have filled the mold, leave it overnight to cure. Repeat the same process for the base stand too but only fill it halfway, and then, leave it for three to six hours so that it can get a gel-like consistency.
5. Prepare Resin Flowers
